1. Equivalent
of Vehicle/Equipment/Plants is a factor under which
resources work efficiency of a field can be expressed. This factor given to an
earth moving machine is depending up on the work efficiency of that machine for
loading/ cutting/ removing of earth in teams of Cu Mtr/hour and it should
remains constant.
2. When different type of machineries
working together for a particular job, the total output for a cretin period should be
intimated in teams of hour/kms Now how

one machine to an another. ?
See the example, For a job: A dozer BD 50 run 9 HRs,
a JCB Excavator run 5 HRs, a Tata Hitachi run 8 Hrs and an Air Compressor
600 CFM run 3 HRs. Now total HRs 25 (9+5+8+3) is not a correct
teams of output.
It is expressed in this way:
Dozer BD 50 9 x 0.6 (Equivalent
factor) = 5.4 HRs
JCB Excavator 5 x 0.4 (Equivalent factor) = 2.0 HRS
Tata Hitachi 8 x 01 (Equivalent
factor) = 8.0 HRs
Air Compr 600 CFM 3 x 02 (Equivalent factor) = 6.0 HRs
Total = 21.4 HRs
21.4 HRs is the correct teams of output. Saying 21.4 HRs to a third
party, He can understand / assess the work done by this four machines together.
4. This equivalent factor is also utilized
to find out the required run of an another machine, for complete a job, in lieu
of a right machine for that job. And for compression of
two or more companies /units in teams of total resources
strength.
