Field workshop & new buy V/E/P

b)  Duties of Field workshop on arrival of new buy V/E/P

1. Carry out initial inspection by IAF(EME) E-03/23(R).

2. Checking of Srl No, Chassis No, FIP/Rotary pump No, Compressor No, Alternator No etc as per documents and collection of pencil rubbings.

3. Check any damages to assy, serviceability of assy, complete fitment / deficiency of assy, engine oil, gear oil, hyd oil etc.

4. Check all parameters on start condition, kilometer/hours meter reading etc.

5. Make entry to the log book with affix one copy of initial inspection.

6. Carry out workshop commissioning of eqpt /plant at work site.

7. Assist service engineer of company visit at worksite for commissioning /service.

8. Watch and change first engine oil in due time with replacement of engine oil filter and fuel filters.

9.      Check due time of other oil changes.

10.    Watch serviceability and efficiency of the V/E/P in time to time.

11.    Raise defect report to HQ DGBR/E4Tech and manufacture for replacement /repair under warranty clause if found any defect.

12.    Check any recurring defect/manufacturing defect with V/E/P.

13.    Check up KPL/HPL and entry in to log book.
